Position Description

Shaping Lives as a Community Care Worker

As a Community Care Worker with Your Care, your main role will be to deliver personal and home care services, providing integral support to our clients and their carers. This involves offering assistance in various areas, including home care, personal care, and respite care.

Your role requires efficiency, friendliness, and competency in the delivery of these services, ensuring the utmost care and support for our clients.

We seek individuals who display a patient, understanding, and respectful approach, particularly when working with older individuals and those living with dementia or other disabilities. Your compassionate nature will contribute significantly to enhancing the lives of our clients, their carers, and our community.

Essential Qualifications

All applicants must hold the following level of minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum Cert III in Individual Support, Cert IV in Disability Support / Mental Health, or currently in 2nd year University study in either Nursing or Allied Health
  • Level II First Aid Certificate & CPR – maintained annually

Mandatory Requirements

  • National Police Check- must be within 3 months
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children’s Check – Paid Work
  • Immunisation record – must have full COVID-19 vaccination and booster status
  • Australian Drivers Licence
